Old boxing records - help required

Post by theguvnor »

Can anyone tell me where i might find information, records ect about my father, Arthur Lee who boxed in the 20s / 30s or any of his brothers, Tommy Joe, Jimmy.

They all fought out of Canning Town or West Ham in London

Tommy Lee turned pro at 13 in 1923, and had over 300 fights, including Evan Lane.

Jimmy turned pro at the age of 15 in 1928, and aprox 120 fights, including seven fights in one week.

Joe Lee had 120 fights, loosing only 4 i beleive

Arthur Lee turned pro around 1933 aged 16, had over 100 fights at fly, bantom, and feather weights.

any help would be much appreciated
