WBC is bankrupt

Post by bugs »

just reading that the WBC will indeed declare bankruptcy, coz they have to pay out 31m as a result of a lost court decision.

Surely this a great thing, kind of And then there were two . . .

The 'World Boxing Council' may well be declared bankrupt.

But, there's nothing to stop them forming the 'World Boxing Commision'.

Jose Suliamen will not be declared bankrupt personally (I presume the World Boxing Council is a limited company), so he is quite within his rights to become a director of the all new 'World Boxing Commision' (or whatever).

Oh, damn, one of the things I was most looking forward to after I read this was the absence of Sulaiman slithering around the ring post-fight.

is this is a result of the Graciano Rocchigiani court case? well i hope that Rocchigiani gets his money, which i somehow doubt. the way he was shafted by the WBC reinstating roy Jones as champ stank
