I wonder if anyone else thinks Spadafora is a potential banana skin? I do!

Apparently, Spadafora will be there tonight, according to FW. I just don't see how a) the US will let him out if he is out on bail for attempted murder (he is, isn't he) and b) why the UK would let him in!

I really do think his slick, southpaw style can give Hatton fits. Couple this with the fact he showed against Leonard Dorin he can gut it out all makes for an intruiging fight. :TU:

True, however I don't think it's power that he's gonna need to win this fight. He can fiddle and twist as well as dig deep when he has too.
I make Hatton the favourite but would not be suprised if...

Spadafora is a nothing fight. So what if he beats him, Spadafora is a lightweight and he was supposed to beat him. No belt involved either. The only reason this fight is probably going to be made is because Spadafora is a complete non-puncher, he's one of the only recognizable names that isn't going to test Rickys chin. Rickys fought three guys in his career that could punch. Magee knocked him down, old Vince Phillips almost had him down in the 4th and Tackie was a too slow to really land. Lets see what Ricky does when theirs something serious coming back at him.

No excuse for the Witter fight not being made anymore. Witters willing and will be reasonable with the money. They don't need showtime for this fight to be made, thats complete bullshit.

I have to admit Hatton V Spaddy is not a fight I can get too excited about.

Hatton V Witter, know thats a different story.
