Billy Dib Vs Davy Browne
Who will win and how? :??

Re: Billy Dib Vs Davy Browne
Dibb UD, Davey seemed to struggle in that last one was chasing to much and closing his range if he does that against Dibb he might walk onto something, however Davey doesn't know how to lose would love to see him cause the upset.Liver Crusher wrote:Who will win and how? :??D
Re: Billy Dib Vs Davy Browne
i think dib will win and probably by ko, dib is a big step up for davey
plus unlike most people, i really rate dib highly and think he will go on to be a world champ someday, i cant say the same for davey, but its good too see him stepping up and it should definitely be competitive

Re: Billy Dib Vs Davy Browne
It is so frustrating watching Dib because he has something that you can't train but needs to not rest on his laurels with his skill alone, hopefully with Hussein in the corner he can make him fight more.cace wrote:i think dib will win and probably by ko, dib is a big step up for davey

But that might just be another progression in his career, we will see with him dropping down a notch in caliber of opponent, I won't be happy unless he produces a dominent performance, at the end of the day what Aussie has had his experience at such a young age.
Re: Billy Dib Vs Davy Browne
Davey will have to fight some better quality fighters if he wants Dib. Dib's only loss was in a world title fight.
I have a fair idea Davey will outgrow featherweight soon. At 5'11" he will soon have to starve to make the limit.

Re: Billy Dib Vs Davy Browne
The pressure will be on Dib Big time!!!
Davy,Tommy & Davy Snr will ensure that there is a plan in place to catch Dib.
Davy can counter punch Dib and KO him that way.
Go Davey! True Guts.

Re: Billy Dib Vs Davy Browne
Seen Browne fight twice, he did a good job against his most recent opponent the Thai, but he really struggled against Anton Olarte.Liver Crusher wrote:The pressure will be on Dib Big time!!!

This will be more of a challenge for Browne than Dib, Dib has fought fighters with more experience. I think Dib wins comfortably.

Re: Billy Dib Vs Davy Browne
It is a decent fight on paper but Davey was very scratchy in his last fight and Dib is a huge step up from that one. I say Dib wins a UD but the real winner is Australian boxing for providing another fight where two good Aussie fighters will square off. I really hope this trend continues
Re: Billy Dib Vs Davy Browne
I reckon Orlarte drew that fight. I like both the Brownes, but i reckon Dib should have too much class. I hope i'm wrong thoughHounddog wrote:Seen Browne fight twice, he did a get job against his most recent opponent the Thai, but he really struggled against Anton Olarte.Liver Crusher wrote:The pressure will be on Dib Big time!!!

Latest pre-fight quotes
Quotes –
Billy ‘The Kid’ Dib –
“This is my fight, not his. I absolutely respect the fact that Davey called for this fight, but make no mistake, I’m finishing it and I’m knocking him out, it’s as simple as that!”
“Billy Hussein and I have prepared and I have nothing but faith in the preparation we are bringing into this fight. My weight’s right, everything’s in order, let’s go!”
Trainer Billy Hussein -
“I don’t know how much more I can get him ready? He’s fit and has trained as hard and with as much quality as any fighter I have worked with going into a big fight – Vic, Danny Green, any of them.”
“He’s a firecracker waiting to be lit. I get the easy job of now lighting it!”
Fresh from speaking on 2KY’s - ‘The Big Sports Breakfast’ (Thursday) with great friend, ‘Slats’ (Michael Slater) and ‘TK’ (Terry Kennedy). Billy ‘The Kid’ had one simple message for his upcoming opponent Davey Browne in next Wednesday, 11th’s two-title championship bout –
