well done Jane Couch
I like Couch as a person, but as tough as she is, her limitations are often exposed. Having said that, I don't know much about her opponent, and by the sounds of it, she was good one.
It's a shame women's boxing isn't well followed, but there just isn't a big enough scene. I would love to follow women's boxing but when you see women with records like 0-3 or 2-10 or whatever facing some of the top fighters, you have to wonder about it's state.
But women like Lucia Rijker and Laila Ali are great to watch, Ali has proven that she is in fact for real, and not just some circus attraction feeding off her father's name, and Lucia Rijker is simply a class act. Rijker is far too inactive though.

lucia rijker is brilliant it would be gr8 to c rijker and ali get it on someday in a catchweight fight or something.
one thing u can't deny about the women is that they always come to fight they've got bags of heart i've never seen a boring women's fight.
i was gonna say they've got loads of balls then but wrong word for the women.

Yeah, if you asked my one British fighter I would have like to have seen retire it would have been Couch. Too often I have seen her lose hard contest and she seems to be in an awkard situation (too good to be labelled a Journeywomen, but not good enough to win the tough ones).
Glad she's proving me wrong though.
