Hatton just made the 13th defence of his WBU Title and Monterio pulled of a big upset to win his WBU title, I know its a paper title but I'm sure its worth more than the EEC title. :o

I think its a good choice, he beat a fighter who was undeafted, its nice to have a different fighter each week rather than same one.

I agree, but i am slightly biased ;-)

Elvis has never got any favours in his career and like he did last year went overseas to beat a strong fighter on his own promotion...

Alvarez was undefeated and Elvis was the first to beat him.... The EEC title is a bit naff but will hopefully lead to an EBU shot against Drews (if he hasnt vacated, or someone like Ulrich)

Monteiro would have been a good choice though, i agree

The Hatton fight was a foregone conclusion therefore you wouldnt say he was fighter of the week.

Had he got to Brazil and beaten Kelson Pinto then I would have been impressed ;-)
