Froch Q and A
Am interviewing Carl after 5pm for the Daily Post and BBN.
As the DP is a Welsh paper I'll get some Calzaghe stuff in there, but if you have any other questions bung them on here and I'll try and put them to him if I can.
Cheers...

I know it's a difficult one to bring up Hooky but...does he acknowledge he takes far too many shots? I mean his chin is one of the best in the world but, you know...

Think he does mate, in the article in BM this month he refers to it.
I wanted to take Pascal out ETC rather than box...
Re: Froch Q and A
Are you a boxing fan as well as a boxer?
if so what fighters past and present do you particularly admire i)for their ability in the ring and ii) for their attitude out of the ring i.e ambition and willingness to take on all-comers?
Do you think Warrens cynical matchmaking has harmed or restricted the sports growth in the UK? (hopefully that will tee him up for a rant)
[then pat Carl on the back for sticking with Mick and not going down the (probably more lucrative in terms of ££'s) Fwank route]

Re: Froch Q and A
A few questions:
Does he always see himself as a super middle or would he move up to light heavy for the right fight in the future?
Would he prefer to fight Taylor or Kessler next if it was up to him?
How big an affect on his career does he think the Hennesy deal with ITV will have?
Oh and the big one:
If he had to sleep with another boxer who would it be? Just to hear his reaction!

Any joy with the Taylor negotiations? HBO had tried to piss the fight up by saying they would rather have Taylor fight Winky Wright but now Wright is fighting Paul Williams (according to boxrec.) Does this mean the Taylor fight is now close?

Cheers lads....
Chambers, I'd asked him that previously but will ask him again.
He did say last time:
""I must admit I've never been that into watching boxing because I end up shouting at the TV when these dull fights are on.
"What got me into the sport was watching Naseem Hamed, he was an entertainer and I even travelled to Las Vegas to watch him fight Marco Antonio Barrera.
"I didn't have much money and anything I did have was lost in the casino, so that wasn't a great experience. I lost money gambling and on Hamed!"

Look forward to reading this Hook. I'd be interested in how he found the transition from amateur to pro (not sure if he's covered this in interviews before?).
Is that other piece you were working on finished (not the Nivea one...)?

He's great, a reporter's dream :)
I'll write it up in the morning...
