Remains to be seen what is left of Barrera after the shooing he took from Pacquaio. The same Pacquaio who was made to look pretty one-dimensional and ordinary by Marquez from round 2 on.

Ayala isn't any kind of puncher at featherweight and he's not hard to hit these days either. I see a pretty comfortable win for Barrera here.

What does it matter if your one-dimensional if that dimension is so damn good like Pacquiao's is. If their was one fighter P4P in world boxing with the style to beat Pacman it was Marquez with his counter punches and he still couldn't do it. If that fight was stopped in the first how many people would be saying how great Manny is?

The fact is it wasn't stopped, and rightly so, as Marquez never stopped firing back at any point in the round.

Marquez clearly won that bout, Pacquaio did very little after round 2 except bob around and eat Marquez' counters. I think that decision stank to be honest. I scored it by 1 round to Marquez, but it was a very clear 1 round. After reviewing it on tape, I gave it to Marquez by 3. I didn't give Pacquaio a single clear round after the 2nd.

Yes, Pacquaio looked very good but we won't know whether that was because Barrera was sub-par or washed up until we see him face someone other than Marquez.

Whatever the case, Pacquaio is very very good anyhow.

While I agree, none of the decent American posters (on other sites) do. Quite amazing that. Apparently all the punch stats favoured Pacquiao. I think us Brits tend to score for ring generalship and control more, but it is interesting how differently people can score a fight.

Another fight, which I didn't even see as controversial was the first Castillo vs Mayweather bout, what I find amazing was I thought the rematch was a carbon copy of the first yet the yanks though Mayweather was justifably declared the winner in that one, but not the first. I though Mayweather won both closely, but clearly.
