Re: VIPBoxing.com News
Good to see Mark Thompson getting a run-out, even if it is for Commonwealth eliminator. Bit of a strange one.

Re: VIPBoxing.com News
Be good to see Scott Quigg. I have him as my one for the future. Any decent Hotels near the arena, people?
Re: VIPBoxing.com News
The quality Hotel in Wigan is OK , there does not seem to be many hotels around Wigan.
If you want to watch Quigg at Blackpool then there is loads but not many decent, mainly B+B type places. Been told the reason why VIP are doing this show is because it is Pigeon weekend there and 30,000 people attend so would presume it will be hard to get a room.

People who race pigeons meet up in Blackpool, there was an article in the Gazette about them being "linked" to boxing, but it is only because of a connection with Tyson.Old bones Ian wrote:What the hell is 'Pigeon weekend' ????

I take it your not a 'pigeon fancier' then Ian?Old bones Ian wrote:What the hell is 'Pigeon weekend' ????
Nah, me neither. These northerners have some strange habits..
I know Tyson kept pigeons but I just can't see the appeal myself.
Good luck Tyrone with your fight - bet your old man is enjoying your progress in the pros!
Where is that old curmudgeon these days?
Re: VIPBoxing.com News
