Yes, there's a big difference between being dropped and hurt, and being knocked down. Hopkins was the only man who ever really laid the hurt on Tito, and there's no shame in that.

Trinidad's never been away by the sound of things. Inactivity and age affect stamina. Mayorga is the man doing the 12-rounders, the 10-rounders, and doing them easily. He'll wear down Trinidad and come through in the later rounds.

Tito hasn't been retired for 10 years though has he, and let's face it, he's a notch or two above Mayorga, Tito is a legend, Mayorga is merely a footnote.

Trinidads stamina was legendary... even if he loses a touch with age and inactivity he will still be much better than most fighters...
I cannot see it lasting that long though....

The odds makers think Tito wins this, but Mayorga has a great chance.
His chin is excellent: Forrest hit him with probably the hardest punch he's ever thrown, and he didn't blink. And Forrest can punch pretty hard, just ask Shane Mosley.
Trinidad's been living the easy life for a few years now, and he's planning to get straight back in the ring with a hard hitting monster like Mayorga?
Sounds like a bad plan to me: Mayorga KO 5.

You have to remember the way Mayorga lives, smoking/drinking, it may be his wheels that fall off

I would never doubt your boxing judgement, knockout. My own, yes. I called Carlos Wilfredo Vilches well wrong for example. Thought he would fold early against Hatton. But he lived up to the cute, tough and reckless Argie tradition.
How good does it make Sharmba Mitchell look?

I have said from day one that Mayorga is absolute rubbish and he is I was amazed how many people jumped on his bandwagon...

The only way I see Tito losing is if the lay off has effected him badly and his prep work is poor.

He strong, he's tough, thats about it. Bit like Billy Backus back in the 70's, although Backus was better than Mayorga.

Boxing wise, I've seen an elephant with more Boxing skill than Mayorga.

For me Mayorga has one of the worst defences in world boxing, he can be so easy to hit it's untrue. I can't wait to see what happens when Tito catches him flush. I also have doubts about how hard he'll hit at middle, i know Trinidad's been down before (only once or twice!!) but i can't see Mayorga keeping him there.

Trinidad by stoppage if he's anything resembling the fighter he used to be.

I picked Spinks to beat Mayorga, simply because Spinks is a better fighter than him.

Trinidad, even an inactive and faded version is much better than Mayorga.

Trinidad by wide points decision with Mayorga's face looking a mess at the end.

It isnt directed at this forum in general mate but from 4 different boards I was browsing the general consensus at the time seemed to be that Mayorga was going onto big things which really surprised me...

He is a really limited fighter and extremely one dimensional I said the same about Pacquaio as well...

Hasim Rahman blasted out Rob Calloway in two rounds yesterday. He's the WBA #1, which means it will probably be Rahman - Ruiz 2 on the undercard on October 2nd. Hope it's as thrilling and dramatic as the first fight.
