Big boxing shoes
Big boxing shoes
I'm not using it as a metaphor. I'm really talking about the large sized boxing shoes. It used to be that I could find boxing shoes in sizes 14-16 without a problem. Now there are very few boxing shoes/boots that come in sizes larger than 13. I have found a few 14's and a couple of 15's, but absolutely no 16's. Does anyone else have this problem? Has anyone found a source for sized 16 boxing shoes/boots?
Re: Big boxing shoes
I was actually talking to a guy about this the other day. He has a size 16 foot and couldn't find boxing shoes. I know Winning makes custom boxing shoes, but they're very expensive. They make the Klitschkos' boxing shoes.
Re: Big boxing shoes
Thanks for the info about Winning. It would be nice to find some that cost less than $150+.

Dennis I just bought a pair of classics from a company in TX they get them from Mexico. They might have large sizes. 11s were $99, but they weren't for me. I would need 16s. You know what they say......big feet................................................big shoes.

Zappos has this wrestling shoe in size 17. It also comes in a variety of colors. It has a split sole which might be a problem but you could look around their website or even give them a call about finding boxing/wrestling shoes in certain sizes. Their customer service is very helpful.

Yep, I hear that one Hal. I've heard a few other sayings too! Personally, I only need sized 13 or 14 shoes. The 16's are for Jordan and the 14's are for Niall.squarering wrote:Dennis I just bought a pair of classics from a company in TX they get them from Mexico. I may buy some wrestling shoes if I have to, but I prefer the taller boxing shoes. Zappos is a good company and I have purchase quite a few pairs of regular shoes from them. I'll call them and see about the boxing shoes.rmz wrote:http://zeta.zappos.com/product/7240731/color/64892

I wear size 16's and I get wrestling shoes (same thing but even cheaper) off www.eastbay.com
