harry hafts last fight was with rocky marciano - please delete loss to pruden-haft was a light heavy and could not have fought a welterweight

The 1950 Ring Record Book actually lists Pruden's opponent as "Harry Haft". The bout does not appear on Haft's record however in the same book.

It does seem a bit odd that Pruden would fight a opponent with no known record with a not so common name like Haft. You can often find "new" bouts for guys looking at other guys records in Ring Record Book. Still the Welterweight-Light Heavyweight thing is a bit odd.

I would leave it as Robin did, and see if a newspaper article could shed some light on it further.
