No. Last time I saw it the column header described him as 'Boxing's Mr Big'

In the industry, The Sun is just as respected as the "qualities". Yes, it is positioned at "lesser" audience, but that does not mean the reporters and editorial staff are any less talented. They have a clearly defined audience and therefore a clearly defined style/strategy - and it is very good at what it does. Do you think just because it's easier to read, that makes it any easier to write? They are writing/editing to a style, and that can actually be more difficult than being given free rein. It takes talent to put something like that together, even if they do use the word "romp" instead of "intimate liaison".

They're shithouse, lying, manipulative, snidy, scumbags who try and ruin lives - all tabloids are pudenda and full of shit and i can't believe anyone reads them. The S*n are the worst of a scummy bunch.

Finch is right

The Scum and its sister paper NOTW(or sunday scum) are the worst.

Who gives a shit what Max Mosley gets up to in the bedroom, it's his business not ours.

Then of course all the lies. :shame:

Well at least fwanky found his level

Both Oliver and Finch are correct, in my opinion.

(And I say that having done a little bit for The Sun...it was quite a challenge for me 'stylistically' :D ).

Their positions aren't mutually exclusive.

i would take more of an issue with the 8 pages of utter drivel that the sun (and EVERY other tabloid) spew out daily about Christiano Ronaldo or Phil Scolari getting the sack, or the whole Kevin Peterson "saga".

who really gives a monkeys? the whole paper is full of crap, if you dont like an article, dont read it. by coming on here and moaning about it all you do is make more people aware of it.

& we have a winner!

Scum = very competent at what they do to a high standard of excellence (& what they do is tap into people's insecurities, secret fears & ugly misanthropic sides, spew forth bile & garbage into the world whilst being a complete bunch of pudenda who'd get behind Hitler if Murdoch thought there was A) any money in it, B) any chance he'd get to publish an exclusive People's Paper or C) thought he'd get the rights to cross-media promoted executions live on SKY, with the public voting for which ethnic minority gets the bullet via premium rate phone-ins).
