so anyone here seen abelyan fight? details please cos harrison is there for the taking and lets be honest is definitely not the best featherweight in the world and i wud pick at least 8 others in the divison to beat him.

The thing is, the lad won't just have to win, he will have to win huge to get the verdict. I know I'm being pessimistic about it all but I'm sick of seeing people getting jobbed out of victories.

I haven't seen him fight, but he sounds like he has the style to give Scot problems.....maybe.

A lot of people seem to be going for the upset here - Ayala might be worth a bet too

Worth a punt I reckon, Harrison has looked very fallible against Medina, even in the second fight, and against Estrada.

If I were a trainer, I would tell any Harrison opponent to go to the body, Scott has looked VERY vulnerable to a body attack, even against light hitting Medina. I reckon if someone works his body, Harrison will get stopped, I think as a consequence of being weight drained he really feels the body shots, I don't know exactly how it works, but weight drained fighters often fold from body shots.

Agree with that, 7/2 seems like a decent bet. It's not something i'd put a great deal of money on, i have this little feeling that Barrera is a long way from done yet.

I am going with Abdelyan to win by KO 12. Harrison gets tired vs a mover. Abdelyan can punch and move. Harrison will be wishing he was facing his favorite bathroom opponent instead of this guy.

Don't see Abelyan stopping him, Harrison takes a shot too well, and Abelyan isn't exactly a pint-sized Earnie shavers.

I'd say whoever looks the better in the opener will go on to win the fight.

It will be interesting to see if Harrison fades down the stretch again, if he does then I really think he has to move up in weight for his own good. He looks so gaunt at the weigh ins these days, and his skin is gray.

Harrison is over-rated. McCullough could never punch anyway. I had even had Medina winning the 2nd fight by a couple of points going into the tenth. Of course he got floored twice in the 10th, because he was tired, not much because of the great Scott Harrison.
