Who else is on this bill?
I live in Norway, but with a decent card to back up the Khan fight i might just fly over and go Ringside.

Did any of you go to the Royal Albert Hall for the Baby Faced's last appearance in the UK ?
Lasted all of 30 seconds.
Really bad cut for Paul Llloyd.
Hope that's not an omen !
I went to see Ricky Hatton that night.

Er, it lasted 180 seconds. Lloyd pulled out at the end of round one. He'd been down twice & nearly broke in half by bodyshots.
He was lucky he got cut that night. Glyn Leach described is as being "like watching a toddler walk into a threshing machine"....
One of those lines that has stuck with me ever since.

What were the cheap seats for the Prescott fight..£30 ? Sharpish increase if so.
But, there'll be no 2-for-1 offers for this one.

Datsue,
Was it that long ?
You know what, I think I'm confusing the knock down with the end of the fight.
Just shows how the memory plays tricks.
Well it was 10 years ago - and I'm now over 50.
Since I posted I've just got the prog out.
Tak was on as well - but for the life of me, can't recall that one.

The £100-£150 tickets will probably get you a lower-tier seat, which will give a good view. Next best will be the ground floor seats ( behind ringside ) these will be level floor, so if you don't mind punters up and down all night, these are the ones.forcefraser wrote:Anyone ever been to the MEN arena before??

Ringside will be chokka with Coronation St persons and other people who happen to be on telly a lot...oh and Amir's family.

by choosing such a high profile opponent, is warren trying to coax sky sports into contracting him further so he can reap the lucrative rewards of box office.

Don't gwet the cheap seats. For the love of God, don't get the cheap seats.forcefraser wrote:Anyone ever been to the MEN arena before??

Or develop long-distance vision. And heat resistant skin.
Re: Where will the Khan/MAB fight be?
Fingers crossed it's in the MEN!
If you're planning on going, don't get floor seats. Out of all the times i've visited the MEN, the best seats are Lower Tier

Hope this isn't too expensive, I'd like to go, but it's an expensive proposition for me, travelling to and from Manchester, accomodation for a night, and 150 quid on a ticket - could probably get a package holiday for the same money.

Re: Where will the Khan/MAB fight be?
I imagine the £40 and £50 will be the upper tier, £75 being lower tier.
Re: Where will the Khan/MAB fight be?
£75 is upper lower tier. £100 is lower lower tier.
Re: Where will the Khan/MAB fight be?
Anyone used the company Seetickets before? That is the site you are directed to from the SN website.

Re: Where will the Khan/MAB fight be?
£40 isn't too bad. I had the misfortune to pay that to see Ricky Burns and a procession of home wins at the York Hall. Can't remember the promoter......
