Cantatore represents a serious sign of intent from Haye. He's nothing special, but he's big, strong and can punch. He has 27 KOs in 33 fights. Haye's chin has been questioned, i guess we will really find out what it's like if he fights Cantatore.

Cantatore can be stopped, all 3 of his defeats have been by KO.

This is a 50-50 fight in my eyes, Cantatore has mixed at world class and european level and hits hard. It could be a case of who lands their big shots first. With Haye's speed you might lean towards him, but his leaky defence may make you think otherwise.

If he wins, and looks good, i think you have to put hiom above Johnny Nelson.

Isn't Cantatore the European champion?

Yep. Supposed to be fighting Alex Gurov by the end of September. It's interesting Haye was saying September for a return.

Is there a possibility of him getting the Euro shot instead?

If so, would be not only a big step up but a massive coup.

Spencer Oliver got an early Euro crack but this would be a much harder ask for Haye. You can be sure he'd jump at the chance though.

Spencer Oliver - now there was a talent. What a pity about how it ended.

The Cantatore fight is a massive step up. Enzo wouldn't dream of fighting this guy. He's instead gonna fight a 5'9 former middleweight next.

Haye faces hard punching, dangerous opponent. Enzo faces old, inactive, former middleweight. Remind me, which one of these fighters is promoted by SN? 8)

to last into the 10th against braithwaite is good form :TU: seems like he could have avoided the stoppage to.

if haye can get him next for the european title that really shows his intent big time.
