Tyson Fury vs Marcel Zeller / John Murray vs Lee McAllister

ITV4 have just shown Tyson and he's in much better shape. There's still work to do, but he looks much better than in his debut. The fight is coming up soon.

Zeller's a character. I like him. He wears a kilt as a tribute to his Scottish Dad who died when he was a few months old.

I remember Steve Collins wore a kilt once - got stuck in his arse by Craig Cummings (I think) that night..

Can't believe Zeller is still standing...took a cracking uppercut midway.

Good second round. Zeller is much tougher than I'd expected.

Fury TKO3.

Nice win. I'd like to see Fury in against someone more technically adept next. A big person (6' 5"+), if possible.

Anothe Bullshit Boxing stoppage.

Our refs are worse than the italian/germans.

I am watching the UFC instead.

I like what Fury says. He's looking forward to having longer to train so being in better shape. He says he's always learning. Really likeable guy.

Well Fury is very young for a heavy, and he has alot to learn, but was good tonight.
He beat someone with a decent record, and a toughman as well.

I can understand why the ref stopped it, as Zeller wasn't throwing anything back, he wasn't to badly hurt.

He took way too many hard punches. I'm glad it was stopped.

Zeller didn't look in too much trouble at the time of the stoppage(was throwing a punch when the ref stepped in!)but to say he wasn't really throwing back would be an understatement.

Fury is a likable lad.
Hand speed is impressive and he mixes up his punches well.

The only criticism I have ever heard about him is that he may lack a bit of pop.
He is still a baby in Heavyweight terms though...still growing :o

Good to see him on TV at this early stage.

Might want to reel his old man in with the "this kid would have beat Foreman" talk though!

Zeller? Top man :TU:

Good assessment. The German prospect who knocked Zeller down and Ko'd him might be worth keeping an eye on too.

Zeller was tough, but threw very little, and was static - he was like a human punchbag. He also looked at least 45.

Fury had a good variety of punches especially uppercut and good handspeed. His body is strange-looking - he has a thin neck, thin legs and women's hips.

I think he should take a bit of time to develop.

2nd round over in the Murray McAllister fight.

McAllister was blinking quite badly at the end of the round, but I don't think it means much. Just look quite funny.

McAllister seems sort of like a poor man's Calzaghe, though orthodox and with less power, speed and flurries. Whoever is better down the stretch will win this fight, imo. I'm fancying a Murray stoppage win at the moment.
