If Khan v Prescott was PPV, Khan v Barrera is of course going to be.

It does suck paying the money for a kid who's still developing, but with a name like Barrera how can you not buy it.

The big question is, how will they justify the next PPV if Khan messes this one up?

Easy, Khan versus Laila Ali!!!

Although I suspect Ali will be too dangerous

Too heavy IMO. Amir would give away far too much weight.

I would like to see Sports Network doing the right thing and saying that people can get a refund if Barrera doesn't even show up. Why wasn't he at the press conference or no video interview saying he will be fighting Barrera. A few people i spoke don't even reckon the fight will take place. We shall see.

What a load of rubbish. Who buys PPV more than a day in advance? You buy it by pressing the green button at the time it starts, you don't need to book in advance any more - that was about 5 years ago. All those people who say "orders haven't been good" before the fight are talking rubbish because no one has any idea until after the fight.

What about refunds for fight tickets then?

Also, not only that but you have to book it on the day of the fight (I think).

Wasn't Barrera going to get a shot at champ Nate Campbell?

Even though Barrera's not mandatory (WBO wouldn't sanction that easy opponent that was lined up for the elim/interim whatever), Campbell still wanted to fight him.

In fact Campbell vacated the WBA title, because he'd rather defend the WBO vs MAB than take on the top guy in the WBA.
