NORTHERN CALIFORNIA GOLDEN GLOVES ARE SCHEDULED FROM FEBRUARY 17TH THRU FEBRUARY 21ST IN VACAVILLE,CA

Rocky Mountain Golden Gloves are April 3-4th in Pocatello, ID.

Southern California Golden Gloves are scheduled for March 17 through 21st (7 p.m.). Registration and qualifying weigh-in is scheduled for Saturday March 14th (9-12 noon). Location TBA, but will probably be at the Lincoln Park Rec Center, as usual. California State Golden Gloves in NorCal, April 3-5 - location TBA.

The Indiana Golden Gloves is in Indy beginning March 12 and going every consecutive Thursday through April 16. Don't ask me why but they always do it on Thursdays in Indiana.

It is a lot easier to get a decent venue on a weekday as opposed to a Friday or Saturday. Often it is less expensive as well.

You have to pay for the venue? Hmmmm - wonder why Indiana doesn't just get one of their clubs to host......

Even though Indiana's is on Thursdays they still usually fill Tyndall Armory up with over 1000 spectators.

New York Golden Gloves starts Wednesday, January 28th with the finals held over two days at the Theater at Madison Square Garden on April 16th and 17th.

There is no "West Coast Regional GG" tournament. The State of California is its own franchise and there will be a state tournament to determine the team going to the nationals. Nevada is part of another franchise that includes Washington and Oregon and I don't know when they are having their tournament.

The Nevada GG state tourney is January 24th & 25th at the Silver Nugget Casino in North Las Vegas. The winners then advance on to the Nevada GG regional tournament. The Nevada GG regionals will be some time in March.
