No the McBride fight was shocking. This is a decent match up - at least Williams has a chance: he's a big man who can hit pretty hard himself.
Ok, if he falters mentaly then Tyson will blow him to bits inside 3 minutes.

But let's not forget, Tyson's prime was what? 20 years ago?

This is going to be horrible. I agree with Goz and headhunter, Williams has no chance. Even this faded and shot version of Tyson will be enough to intimidate Danny. It's a shame really, because Tyson has been so inactive and so poor in his most recent fights, a focused and mentally strong heavy would, IMO, give him real problems. At this moment in time i'd pick someone like Skelton to give him a decent fight, but Tyson will just roll over the top of Williams.

Interesting only in that I thought I'd never see Tyson have an opponent I liked less then him.

Have to disagree with you on this one Stu, I agree that it is still a BIG if that this fight will actaully take place as both Williama and Tyson have a very long history of pulling out of fights for various reasons.

However, Williams is a big strong fighter but I feel his punching powre is somwhat overated, he is a big puncher at domestic/Euro level but on the World scene I feel his punching power is only a little above average (IMO of course).

More important than that Williams I feel with his delicate temprement will akmost certainly freeze on the night, either in the dressing room or when he feels Tysons power, but I'm sure it will happen. This fight I see going in a simular way to Tyson - Bruno 2, when big Frank froze.

Yes Tyson is damaged guts and inactive these days but I feel he will still be too fast, hit too hard and too intinidating for Williams.

I hope I'm wrong and if the fight happens I will be cheering for Williams, who's best chance I feel is that Tyson is even more shot that I think he is and Williams smothers and holds his way for the first few rounds untill Tyson slows down and gets fustrated and than Williams goes for it.

But I still reluctantly go for a Tyson win by KO3 or 4.

Mighty i meant shocking as in 'out of the blue' because i didnt see it coming, i agree the mcbride fight was shocking as in 'a fighter sent out to the slaughterhouse'.
