It's ok mate, I just read the article on fightnews, pretty damming about allegedly and his negotiating technique's, or lack of them.

If that article is true, Ricky seriously needs to be looking elsewhere for a promoter.

Hatton not going to fight Harris? Well goddam, Goz really thought that fight was going to happen and had in fact postponed the booking of a holiday, a house move, wedding and even a change of jobs so I could fully enjoy the fight once announced. What a shocker.

Whats the bet he won't fight either Harris or Spadafora and they pull some lightweight out in the last few weeks and make him sound like a legitimate opponent.

Why that Harris is a no good yella' varmint!

He must've pulled a fast one on Honest Frankie!! Forcing him into reluctantly making Ricky fight another lightweight.
Seems Big Frankie allegedly offered Viv 10% of the purse AND options on his future fights - which in my opinion is fair enough, Ricky being the champ and all...That Harris is plain unreasonable!

Truly pathetic from allegedly. No doubt now when Spadafora is announced Warren will start talking shit about Harris saying he wanted too much money or something like that. Then Duva will come out and deny it and it will be just one promoters word against anothers again just like Mitchell. No one believes Frank. Its happened too often.

Urkal can get Harris to come to Germany which imo is a much more difficult fight than the Hatton one would be with the judges reputation over there. Also, although the advertising revenue over there may be bigger than here, Ricky Hatton draws a lot more people than Urkal does. I doubt their was half the amount of people at that Harris vs Urkal fight than would be at even a normal Ricky Hatton fight. Franks reputation in America is probably almost as bad as Don Kings now with all the recent happenings. Shit, at least Don King gives great fights.

Goddamn. The more and more I read of Duva and Harris the more im convinced they are telling the truth. Why the hell would Harris not want to fight Ricky Hatton? If im Vivian Harris i'd really fancy this fight. He says he has two options. Fighting a rematch with Urkal or Ricky Hatton. Hatton is his best option and I believe he wants that fight bad from his comments. If they wanted the fight it could be made tomorrow, thats what Harris's promoter says and I think he's telling the truth.

Maybe its Ricky who doesn't want these fights. His reputation is being damaged badly. He's the British Joe Mesi, actually worse because even Joe Mesi isn't this protected. Maybe Ricky knows he would get cold-cocked if he fought Vivian Harris. Maybe he wakes up in a cold sweat having a nightmare about Vivs right hand. He gets on the phone to allegedly pleading with him not to make the fight perhaps. Rickys gone if he fights Vivian Harris. He's been hurt against far smaller and lesser punchers than Harris. They are terrified of him.

Lets not mention Rickys name in the same sentence as the real fighters from now on. Cotto really does put him to shame.

It's a good fight and as dangerous as Harris is, I genuinely don't think he beats Hatton.

I think Hatton is the 4th best super lightweight around, he beats everyone except Tszyu, Mitchell and Pretty boy.

I think this fight gets made if Frank and Ricky truly believe that they would win. Thats why I think its not being made. Rickys been hurt by lesser punchers than Harris. I think he's a far bigger puncher than Magee. He's a lot faster and I think hits harder with his right than Tackie does. 40 year old Vince Phillips has a good right hand and almost dropped Ricky with an uppercut. Harris is big, in his prime, fast and has a good jab and left hook to go with his big right hand. This fight was never going to happen really. They say money issues but the real reasin is they're terrified of him.
