Will Bunce cry
Will Bunce cry
Its audley last match on the BBC. Do you think Bunce will cry live on the BBC? wouldnt put it past him.
Colin Hart's excellent piece in The Sun makes Bunce look an even bigger plonker than he is already. Hart, you may remember, ridiculed Bunce and his colleagues for refusing to criticise Harrison during and after his tedious 12-rounder with Julius Francis.
Now the BBC have axed Harrison. So who was right?

It wasn't Bunce who axed him though. He probably thinks the BBC have made a mistake in getting rid of Audley and I agree.bennie wrote:Colin Hart's excellent piece in The Sun makes Bunce look an even bigger plonker than he is already. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they did mention it. John Inverdale goes before the fight; "We've been told that the BBC is cancelling Audley contracts for being disappointed by the standard of opposition and his lack of skill. But lets ignore that for now, here's his next fight............"

hey can someone...
Hey how about some one giving me a play by play of the fight
Re: hey can someone...
Harrison looking poor. Again, he's too reluctant. Bonin is game but limited. Round six.joelnyc wrote:Hey how about some one giving me a play by play of the fight

Audley has serious stamina issues. He's off balance when he throws his straight left as well. He's not going no-where. Even old man Skelton seems to have twice the stamina of Audley.
What the.... fornicating terrible stoppage. This fight was level if not going on the Polish guys favour. Audleys been saved and is going to be slated. Deservedly. They are the same size but the difference in the athletic ability of a Lennox Lewis and Audley Harrison is gigantic.

Exactly what I was thinking whilst listening to Bunce's rubbish. If Keane is going to let past events, tragic as they were, influence his judgement then he shouldn't be refereeing, simple as.Lefthookhappy19 wrote:fornicate off Bunce. Stop patronizing the public. They know what they seen, Audley was saved. If Keanes been tramatized from previous fights he should not be refereeing. Silly excuse.
I was sitting there listening to Bunce and thinking 'yep, cheers Steve for treating me like a prat who needs to be told what he's watching'. Pillock. Considering Audley is a prospective world champion (so he says), he should have dealt with Bonin more easily than he did. Used his height and reach and kept Bonin out of the fight. Gutsy display by Bonin but he shouldn't be giving a fighter of Harrison's supposed skills and physical advantages as difficult a time as he did.
The one good thing about the BBC losing boxing is no more Steve Bunce, hopefully never to darken my screen again. I'm seething. Grrrrrr.
