IMHO, Taylor on split points & then he'll toss a coin with the winner of Sebastian Sylvester vs. Gaetano Nespro, which will eventually decide the WBA International middleweight champ

this bloke wrote:wheres all this mundine should ko him early stuff coming from. sure enough taylor is a long way past hes prime and was never that good anyway

but he went the distance with abraham a couple of years ago,i mean do people think mundine hits harder than abraham or something

id love to see mundine ko him early, but i wont consider it a failure at all if he doesnt

i predict a mundine tko 9
It's all about styles. According to reports, Taylor was running from Abraham the whole fight. Will Taylor just want to survive against Mundine?
I say he lies down. He wanted to quit against a lesser fight not so long ago...

^^thanks Ben.....that reminded me of something......see the article below....whatever happened here?

"Taylor v million-dollar Man
August 9 2002

Shannan Taylor swears the million dollars offered to fight Anthony Mundine is not a publicity stunt.

Backed by businessman Tony Caradonna, Taylor announced yesterday that Mundine would be guaranteed a $1 million wage for the fight, regardless of the result.

"It's legit, it's true, it's not a publicity stunt, I'm ready to fight Anthony Mundine," said Taylor, who has a career record of 30 wins, three losses and a draw.

The prize, the biggest purse between two Australian fighters in history, comes two weeks after another boxer, the unbeaten Danny Green, offered Mundine $500,000 to fight him.

Whether one of Mundine's titles would be up for grabs had yet to be confirmed, Taylor said.

Despite the fact Taylor would have to climb a few divisions to fight Mundine, he remained hopeful the fight would become a reality. "I am going to whup Anthony Mundine, if he's willing to sign the paper."

Taylor, 30, has even had T-shirts printed with the proclamation - "The Silence of the Man".

"This is exactly what I'm going to do to him, see this: 'Silence of the Man - starring Shannan Taylor'," Taylor said.

Last week The Sun-Herald reported Mundine accepting Taylor's bid with the statement: "I'll fight you if you can fund me."

Since then, Taylor and Mundine have traded verbal blows, with Mundine calling him "just the latest leech sucking onto the publicity I generate".

"I'm going to make him eat those words, he opened his mouth one time too many. It was business, now it's personal, very personal," Taylor said.

Australia Day was the tentative fight date, Caradonna said.

$1.20 on Mundine is amazing considering Vic is only paying $1.18 against a genuine world class opponent.

Yeah, I know it is still pretty short but it is as much a sure thing as you can get in boxing. There are plant of fights where a fighter is $1.02...

Arce is at $4.40. Not bad in a two horse race.

$4.40 :o :o Unbelievable, Arce may have lost to Mijares but He will be slugging it out with Vic and has good power.

Worth a 20 on a KO.

Mundine enters ring to the urban sounds of Big Jay Z rapping about how tough it is to make a buck in Noo Yoik.

Taylor is wrapped up in towels and a hood over his head entering to the tune of 'Yesterdays hero' or is it love is in the air? they all sound the same to me.

Taylor bounces around jabbing at the air

Mundine smiles (Money for nothing and your chicks for free)

Mundine is introduced first ....Dual, I say Dual world chapion Anthony Mundine................................

But wait......

Taylor takes of his hoodie....... ITS MIKEL KESSLER

Mundine Shits himself!
