Wayne has called out dunne recently. I really dont know why as he quit in his last fight and i think he was ahead on the cards at the time. I think this fight would make plenty of money and there would be interest on this side of the atlantic but I think wayne should retire
What are your thoughts?
Dunne v mccullough
Re: Dunne v mccullough
Both were present at UFC 93. Could just be coincidence given Wayne's job.
Wayne gave me his side of the retirement when I met him in July last year (he was ahead, but felt like he was losing), he also told me he would be up for a potential fight with Bernard, although there's someone on their side of the fence that was preventing it.
Shame, as it would be a great fight.

That was a bit stupid they spelt his name wrong .There was a couple of mistakes including calling Ireland part of the uk.REAL_DEAL wrote:I was half asleep watching UFC but didnt mention dunne as the 1992 olympic medalist may of been gold
Emerson do you think this fight will be made?
Re: Dunne v mccullough
Nope. Someone on Bernard's side isn't interested allegedly, but the fighter himself is allegedly up for it. Real shame. Be a huge fight for Ireland.metropol wrote:That was a bit stupid they spelt his name wrong .There was a couple of mistakes including calling Ireland part of the uk.REAL_DEAL wrote:I was half asleep watching UFC but didnt mention dunne as the 1992 olympic medalist may of been gold

I'll ask Ian and Kev whether it would be useful to put on the BBN podcast so you could listen to it. There's a twat in the background with a coffee machine, so I wasn't able to write up the interview for them at the time.

Emerson seen as you were talking to wayne , do you think he has any sort of ambition to continue if he were to fight and beat dunne? If that fight didnt go ahead do you think he would pursue someone else?
Re: Dunne v mccullough
From memory I think he said that might be his last fight, although he did want a rematch with Ruiz.
Re: Dunne v mccullough
I doubt we will see this fight because Dunne wants a World title fight or Munroe
Re: Dunne v mccullough
I thought next stop for Dunne would be the IBF featherweight belt winner between Thomas and Cruz but Meza-Cley and Solis are fighting an eliminator on 31st Jan for that one so I'm not so sure where he goes now.
