He destroyed a world class awkward southpaw who is in his prime, & who was also ranked no7 by 'Ring' magazine coming in to this fight

Abelyan showed how slick he was in the 2nd round, & how difficult a night he could have made it for Scott & that is exactly why Scott deserves credit

Would the other top featherweights have dealt with Abelyan any better???

Thought Harrison looked good last night, after losing the second round Harrison knew what he had to do to win, and he done it well. He used the straight right particularly well (like for the first knock down) catching Abelyan on the way in, stopping him in his tracks, every time he was trying to unload with his fast flurries. But where does Harrison go from here? He's shown he's a level above the Abelyans of this world, but in many peoples opinion (mine included), he's not ready for the 'big 3' of his division.

Ablyan took a couple of shots well in the first, and his head seemed to clear quite well after that first knockdown. Harrison's follow-up then was pretty wild and inaccurate. But job done, and done well, he can be well pleased.

I'd put him on a par with Chi, now, level fourth feather. Chi would be a pick 'em, although I'd favour Chi because I've seen Harrison hurt. Barrera, well, depends on what's happened to Barrera in the last year or so. I'd actually think about backing him against Pacquaio on size. Great one that, another brawl. Marquez I think would be too slick. That said, I'd still rank him behind Pac, Marquez and Barrera

Well old William The Conqueror certainly fought the wrong fight didn't he?
Standing right in front of Harrison with your chin in the air is not the best tactics, even more so when you don't take a shot too well.

Excellent performance by Harrison to take out his No#1 contender like that - he's back on track for the big fights now.
