One of my daughters lived in Stoke for a year, and she couldnt stand the place. In fairness to Stoke though, how many towns and cities in Britain are still nice places to live. Druggies are bringing everywhere down. I dont think anywhere in Stoke compares to St Annes in Nottingham, just an opinion.

:TU: It's not great, but one of the benefits it has over more urban areas is that you are less than fifteen minutes away from beautiful countryside...if you ever get bored of it's plentiful casinos and lap dancing clubs that is.

It's alright if you like smackheads and the BNP. It was nominated worst place to live in Britain a year or so ago and it was lucky to get that high up the list IMO, it truly is a shithole!!
I come from Newcastle-u-Lyme which is right next to Stoke.

Stoke-on-Trent is a rough sprawling city made up if several towns, whose people are struggling since all the pottery has f*cked off abroad or closed down. Of course there are some horrible areas in the City, but to say its full of smackheads and BNP is pure bullshit.

I'm no lover of the City, of course there are nicer places to live. But its being labelled very unfairly here. How much time have you spent in Stoke-on-Trent for you to be such an expert? And whereabouts in the City and surrounding areas have you actually been to see?

I'm sure the surrounding areas of Stoke are just positively radiant, but mine and my mates (a few who HAD lived there) experiences with Stoke and its' clientelle haven't been the most enlightening. We may have just been unlucky.

I come from Cannock (Britains Chav town of the year 2005), so I've got no room to be criticising anwhere in all honesty. Peace

Good luck Larry, i liked the finish to your last fight, Ingleby doesn't go down that often.
Iftode usually hangs around for a few rounds as well, so should give you a workout.

Larry, have you seen Tyson Fury? any thoughts on him?

The KO streak continues, your thoughts on the fight Larry?

I thought it was a good performance, I think as you move up in class the pace you fight at will have to drop, but you look dangerous in there.

I can't say too much, as I have only lived in Stoke since I started uni here in September, but it seems ghastly. I live in the Shelton area and although its not a very nice area, I think the best word to describe Stoke is "grim".

And my mate got mugged here the other night-not good.

It's still possible he could shed some of the size but still keep the power. Bit too big for me for when he starts stepping up in distance. Very fast hands for a big guy.
He's in the best hands in James Cook.

My performance was ok. still need to improve my defense but i was hapy with the body punching. can keep that pace up for 8 rounds so no problems there. and fury is very good and i cant wait to test myself against him at some point when Frank Maloney thinks its best
