Kell Brooks Ringwalk tune.

Post by emma »

I havent done a kell topic for a while so I thought I would do one.

Anyway here are my questions.....

1, Why doesnt kell have a signature ring walk tune? I know some boxers do like amir etc. The last few hes used have been dance songs so he obviously likes dance music. :TU:

2, what song should he use for his fight on 30th jan? I think2unlimited-no limit. Its a dance song and the lyrics are appropriate :DDD

For about 80 percent of his fights he came down to dangerous by conroy smith. his last fight was a dance tune and one before was like indian bangra music.

James Brown - The Boss is a fave of mine for a ringwalk tune. Think Lee Purdy used it for his fight with McDonagh..

Dangerous - Conroy Smith (the Nigel Benn anthem) is also a belter.

There is whisper coming out of the wincobank that Kell is going to dedicate his next ringwalk tune to his no. 1 fan Emma.

Kell has carefully chosen this speed garage sniper for his next fight. If you listen carefully Emma it contains a hidden message, especially for you:

Terence wrote:Never understood why boxers come into dance music, or In the Air Tonight by Phil Collins, great song but they have to skip the slow beat and just bounce out to the drumming section, robbing the audience of the deep lyrics and slow burn of the song.

Boxer's should be mandated to come out to Bring Da Ruckus or Momma Said Knock You Out, or The Champ by Ghostface, bonus points to Alex Matvienko for that one.
Riddick Bowe's ringwalk to In the Air tonight vs Holy 1 is one of my faves. Mama said knock you out is too obvious.
I heard someone suggest Culture Club Do you really want to hurt me.

Nigel Benn entered the ring for his 1990 fight with Eubank to 'In the air tonight' followed by 'Dangerous' and it is one of my favourite ring walks of all time - made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck. Magic

For hip hop I reckon Rashad Evan's (admittedly not a boxer) entrance music from UFC 92 takes some beating:
