Companies that support/donate to USA Boxing?
Companies that support/donate to USA Boxing?
Anyone have a list of companies that either donate money or equipment to our amateur program? It would be nice if people here on this site were to purchase stuff from these companies to thank them for their support.

USA Boxing should have more than 4 sponsors. They should have at least dozens of sponsors.

Unless things have changed, sponsors pay USAB for the privilege and then they donate thier products, i.e. Everlast is gloves and ring; Jordan is shoes; never heard of the clothing licensee. Years ago, when Tuf-Wear was the official sponsor, they paid $50 or $65 thousand a year to be official. I don't know what the amount is now.USA Boxing should have more than 4 sponsors. IT WOULD BE NICE TO GET A OFFICIAL CLOTHING SPONSOR,SUCH AS NIKE,MARC ECKO,SEAN JOHN,OR ROCAWEAR.UNFORTUNETLY USA BOXING DOES NOT THINK ABOUT EXPANDING AND ITS FUTURE,THIS LEADS TO EXPOSURE TO ITS ATHLETES AND RECOGNITION AS THEY TURN PRO,WHICH IN THE END LEADS TO EXPOSURE FOR USA BOXING
Re: Companies that support/donate to USA Boxing?
If USA Boxing would obtain more national sponsorships, they would have more money to invest into the sport. They could provide more training camps for boxers, coaches and officials. They could lower membership and sanction fees. They could provide training stipends to more boxers and "prize money" for more tournaments. The more they did this, the more athletes would get involved in the sport and the more who would remain in the sport.

Actually, adidas used to do the uniforms and trip gear - I don't know who's doing it now, maybe Everlast. But all they do is outfit the U.S. Championships with finals tops and trunks and delegations going on international events and domestic dual meets, so there is exposure.IT WOULD BE NICE TO GET A OFFICIAL CLOTHING SPONSOR,SUCH
