With regards to Fight Academy - I have spoke to Dennis and Richard on a couple of occasions - the fights are still on - for example the show in Jersey is still going ahead - and when fans say the promoters should dip their hands in their pockets - trust me Dennis has been doing that for a while now - and so have all the other promoters who put on non TV shows.
With regards Tony Jeffries - whatever happens good luck to the man - I hope he wins a world title and I hope he is going to make a lot of money!!! - the only thing to his detriment is that being a Newcastle fan - I hope Tony is truly devastated and gutted sometime in May when his team Sunderland are relegated from the premiership!!!
Thats all I will saying on this thread - I am not bitter - just got my eyes open - as stated on other threads that ITV are making more cutbacks than people realise!! thats a fact and its not just boxing that will be suffering.

Spud what about Tony he was told before he signed with FA they had a Tv deal....he is completely gutted he had 500 tickets sold without trying for his first fight in Sunderland been training over xmas ,(Are Itv making cut backs) We will wait and see what Tv the Olympians are on before talking about cut backs.Tony was well let down,Yes Tony will be gutted if Sunderland go down but is devastated Fa let him down
What a complete load of sh*t!!! - don't give me "ahh poor Tony" - Jaffa will do very well for himself and I remain resolute in wishing him all the very best - I will follow his career more closely out of all the Olympians - I am positive he will do well and make the necessary impact he wants on British Boxing.
But - don't you or anyone else dare come out with this sh*t that Fight Academy have let Tony Jeffries down - regardless of what I say there will be you and others who will state its Fight Academy are the ones to blame - I am not going to go any further as I have citied the reasons what has happened with ITV - and if as you have hinted that some fights maybe on ITV then good luck to whoever it is!! - but how can that be Dennis Hobson's fault when he was given assurances?
As for the sob story Jaffa has "Sold" 500 tickets - what a complete load of b*llocks - how is that the case when the venue was not formally announced to the public - how has he sold 500 tickets when the ticket prices were not set - how has he sold the tickets when they were not even printed - how has he sold the f*cking tickets when the exact other details were not even completely finalised? - so forget the sob story sh*t because it is complete b*llocks!!!
As for Jaffa - if and when he signs for another promoter he will then be able to "re sell" the tickets and and I am told that he is keen for that to be in the not too distant future - so please do not come on here bleating about poor poor Jaffa - the lad will do well for himself and he will be a fantastic credit to boxing and Sunderland - so please go and toss the sob story somewhere else!!
