Danny Nardico in the 7th and Billy Fox. La Motta took a dive in the latter to "ensure" he got a pop at the middlewight title.

That fight was against Billy Fox, and LaMotta didn't go down. In shae and fighting in or near to his natural weight J L was the hardest bastard who ever lived.

Which heavweight contender played Joe Louis in Raging Bull? ( he was famous for doing something in boxing no one else had ever done )

Eddie Mustafa Muhammad played the role of Billy Fox, and Coley Wallace played the role of Joe Louis (only guy to beat Rocky Marciano officially in a Boxing match; This was in the amateurs).
