What a jaw Larry Donald had in his day -- total iron! I remember he didn't even go down & continued doing interviews after!

Are you guys for real? Sure the left was just a "feler", but look at the swing and follow-through Bowe gets into that right hand.

Bowe intended to intimidate Donald with that, but I think it backfired. He landed his best power shot flush, bare knuckle, on an unexpecting and defenceless target, and Donald stood up to it. That surely explains Bowe's flat performance on fight night.

the right hand didnt connect flush but i agree with you if it was full on then it would of played on bowes head

Oliver, a rare voice of sanity amongst the oddballs on this thread.

How on earth anyone could watch that clip and think Bowe was somehow pulling his punches or staging a fracas is simply unfathomable.

It was Bowe in his very familiar bully mood, but he failed to make a dent in Donald.

I always thought Bowe was just being a jerk. Watching it again, it does look like Bowe pulled his punch. Maybe they thought it would build up interest.
As for the fight itself, in the middle rounds Donald actually looked pretty good. You wonder why he didn't fight like that the whole fight.
Donald always seemed like a wasted talent. Never understood why he spend most of his career fighting journeyman. He also put on too much weight.
He could have had a much better career.

It's likely that it was a stunt to drum up last minute interest in the fight. You think Bowe was looking for the kill there? And at the same time killing his paycheck? Not likely.

Look at it at it's original speed, there's no holding back......It was just bad judgment on the part of Bowe....all emotion and NO brain at work at that moment.

Of course he wasn't looking to "kill his paycheck" - he was looking to intimidate his opponent.

Bowe fans may get a laugh at that.
I thought it was B.S.
Pure sucker punch.

It was a delight watching Andrew Golota tan Riddick Bowe's ass back to back.
What goes around comes around.
