Guaranteed Money

Post by adamiw »

over at bet 365 the odds for Freitas KOing Corrales are 2-1 and vice-versa.

so surely, if you put down the same amount (eg. £10 on each bet) you are bound to make money....cos this fight aint going the distance.

10 on F wins £20 plus stake = 30

10 on C lose 10 = -10

so you are 20 better off right? (or have i gone mad, and can't add up?)

No, you are in fact £10 better off. If it happens. And £20 down if it does go to points.

yeah you are right, £10 better off, but i'd of doubled my money from 10 to 20. which aint bad at all. so you could say it's even money for the fight to end in a KO. They are awesome odds.

Now i need to get some money. I have until August 7th.

Adam, your maths are shocking. You will have laid out a total of £20 for a return of £30. It is 1/2 for a knockout victory either way.

However, if you are certain it won't go to points, this is still a very attractive price! :TU:
