Christ 125 ringside???
In my time i've see Howard Eastman, Yuri Romanov and Jon Thaxton in top fights for less than that, ringside.

I don't think that is excessive, after all, you don't HAVE to sit ringside, get a cheaper ticket.overhand_right wrote:Christ 125 ringside???

Overhand, this is a decent Bill - £125.00 Ringside is not a bad price!
I like the way Hayemaker give their bills a Number - just like the UFC

It would be worth attending to see solid prospects like Groves and David Price.

Groves ain't on, mate.
He's on the sell out York Hall bill.

Re: HAYEMAKER6; THE ECHO ARENA, LIVERPOOL - TICKETS ON SALE NOW
I know he's on the York Hall bill on Feb 1st but according to the individual who started this thread (most probably Dave Coldwell) he's also on the Echo Arena card. I wouldn't be surprised if that is the case, given that the shows are nearly 2 months apart. He can easily fight on both bills.twenty six wrote:Groves ain't on, mate.

I think this is a decent card to be honest. Will be interesting to see how full the arena is.
Liverpool not had a big stadium to host big time fight nights like this for many years now - so I for one am eager to see how the cities boxing fans react.
Considering a lot of the fighters are from the city I would expect a massive turnout.
Looking forward to it.

Stegsie,
Do you think it will attract casual fans from Lancashire ?

Re: HAYEMAKER6; THE ECHO ARENA, LIVERPOOL - TICKETS ON SALE NOW
It is the biggest show in Liverpool since Neary-Holligan - what a night that was. fornicate knows how many it oversold by.
I hope they pull it off, but I can't remember too many of the smaller shows in Liverpool over recent years selling out.
Dare say if they draw 3000 they'll be happy

No reason why not, pal. I would hope to even see quite a few manchester fight fans making the trip down the East Lancs. A boxing fan is a boxing fan at the end of the day - that is my view on it. 95% of the shows I've been to have been in the manchester area and they've always been top notch.twenty six wrote:Stegsie,

All the fights seem very competitive so if your a fan of boxing then it's a good deal I reckon.

The Warren card at the Olympia a couple of years back with Mathews, M'Baye, Smith sold out pretty quickly.chris s wrote:It is the biggest show in Liverpool since Neary-Holligan - what a night that was. eff knows how many it oversold by.

The main problem is we haven't had many big cards up here recently or that have been promoted particularly well. The Wally Dixon promotion with Mathews in July last year was pretty unknown about.
