I have a problem with a boxer that hasn't even won the British title saying he'll beat Pacman after his demolision of Diaz. I found that disrespectful. That's the only reason why I'm not so keen.

I don't mind gobby fighters that can back it up with skill and prove themselves to us; (Froch, Haye, Mayweather Jr).

I Only recall him saying it in small interviews to show his confidence. i have never seen him calling him out and saying he is the best. I think that's just how he is, he gets nervously excited in interviews and says all sorts.

I also wouldn't hate him because some of his Fans maybe obtuse, that not his problem. If it was, then judging by Hatton and Calzaghe fans, they'd be treaed awfully lol.

He was in the newspaper the other day talking about how goodlooking he is, how before he had no problem getting the girls but since hes won the medal they are all over him, how hes slept with some minor celebrities, how hes posed naked for Cosmo magazine ( although that is a good cause) how he carrys gold business cards around with him etc etc. what a idiot.

The only negative thing i have seen about him is probably the car accident, but it was hardly egotistic of him, it was just him being careless.

It is egotistical of anyone to drive a vehicle carelessly and put people's lives at risk. It makes me sick. As long he stops though, then at least he's learned a lesson.

I get what you mean with all the problems in the World why would God be interested in helping Amir Khan win his fight. The big problem with all religions is that they all humanise God, seeing him as a wise old man looking down on us and answering our prayers. Its a rediculous concept yet so many of all faiths believe in that image of God. That leads people to bless or turn on God for the things that happen, believing God has either intervened or alternatively ignored our prayers. I believe God is the life force of all living things on our planet, not an old man sitting up on a cloud. Just an opinion like everything else on this forum.

Both seen as cannon fodder when they stepped up. Hatton wasn't regarded much higher than Khan is now

A cousin of my mother married a German man and the family cut her off all except my Mother. None of her neighbours spoke either. The thing is he came here just before the outbreak of war because he didnt agree with what was happening in Germany. He spent the war working in an office in London and supported Britain entirely. Very sad that this respectable couple had such a horrible time in post war Britain. We still enjoy reminding German people about a war they just want to put behind them. Fawlty Towers as many will know has just 12 episodes. The Germans think there are only 11 though.
