i am tring to find out more about fred booth he was my dads great uncle and we have only now after finding this sight agreed that he indeed fought jerry jerome in 1908 we thought it was 1928. was there 2 bouts between them? as he(my dad) was told that they fought in 1928. dad also tells me fred owned the beauaraba hotel in pittsworth during his boxing carrer,and that he never acepted money only gifts. there was a 2 page lift out in the mid 60's in the sunday truth in brisbane if anyone knows anybody with a copy of this article or knows where to get a copy or any other information it would be greatly appreciated.

Fred Booth met Jerry Jerome on 3-10-1908. Fred Won by a K.O.
1928 would have been way too late for Fred as sadly he died in 1931.. He is buried in Pittsworth

We must all be related! Fred was my Dad's great uncle too... Any info you guys could share would be most appreciated! I am trying to trace the family history.
