Barton's just a thug though and he's proven that time and time again as for the road incident with Khan it's well a mixture of inexperience and stupidity and I think he should have been punished more harshly for it, but it happens everyday in the non-celebrity world as well.

As for whoever said about being a certain age for powerful cars, well I'm 25 and I've been driving powerful cars and motorbikes for half a decade now and haven't hurt anyone although maybe that's because I have respect for the capabilities of the machine and what it can do.

If I had his money at his age, I'd be driving a stupidly powerful car without regard for other people because you'd think the world revolved around you. Snorting coke off of models tits and dancing in my own shit.

I don't blame him for that.

Thats exactly right the Brazilians live for sports like football and F1 and Filipe Massa would have become a National hero overnight had he won the championship. Lets also bear in mind an awful lot of Brazilians are black.

I'm a bit lost with this thread - with all the banter I'm not sure where the banter begins and the serious debate ends!

IMO Some people do dislike Khan because of his race and they are c*nts for doing so. However I do believe not of them are members of this forum as far as I can tell. I am a Khan fan of sorts but it does annoy me that he has yet to fight the best of British like Thaxton or Murray. I get the impression Khan himself would fight these fellas in a heartbeat but his management chooses not to go down that path. Tbh I am/was surprised at the amount of stick AK gets on here but I think thats more do to with a dislike of his matchmaking and promoter rather than the lad himself. I know quite a few people who know/have met Khan having gone to school in Bolton and they all say he is a nice chap.

Come back and say that when your own teenage son does outrageous things and gets into loads of trouble. You have to be the parent of a teenager to realise the worry, upset and trouble you caused your parents when you were young. I found out when a couple of mine gave me all sorts of shit to sort out, and it makes you think. You can never condone young drivers putting others lives at risk or the taking of hard drugs. Becomming rich and famous when you are young must be hard to handle, I accept that, and they need help to stop them ruining their own lives and the lives of others.

I mean i don't see Minorities and blacks dancing in the streets when Hatton was KTFO by Mayweather, but when Khan was KO'd, i saw countless of Whites celebrating as if England had won the world cup, shouting all sorts of racist remarks.

I really think Boxing Fans need to clear out the scum.
You really are coming across as a bit of a twat, you make it sound like Khan getting KOed sparked street parties up and down the country with massive conga's, Gordon Brown gave us all the day off for a national celebration, when by all accounts people cheered and were happy that the myth that was Khan was exposed.

So on your theory, I cheered Willie on, laughed when Naz got floored for the first time, didn't like Lennox Or Eubanks till the end of their careers, so that makes me a racist?

Your a joke comparing people's dislike of Khan to racism.
Behave,

Like you, i'm only saying what i have seen/heard from personal experience.

I don't think i have ever seen People celebrating someone losing. Someone winning, fair enough, but someone losing, ever.

Nobody mentioned Gordon Brown or Holidays, im speaking about idiots going nuts over someone losing.

I'm not calling you racist, im simply pointing out that with "SOME" people, there are obvious racial undertones, since they have no reason to hate Khan, except the fact he is a "Pak!".
Don't believe me, only need to read the comments of the 'tards posting on YouTube videos, how some guys celebrated on the streets over the "Dumb Pak!'s" lost.

You could well be right about the matchmaking. Calzaghe has had a lot of stick for the same reason. In Khans case though he has often been seen to be a cocky little bugger and the driving incidents havent helped him to be popular either. Being from a Pakistani background he is probably more liked by the white British than the Indians.

I havent, thats for sure. I remember a complete arsehole in a powerful car who drove around his estate putting the fear of Christ into everyone. Eventually he piled the thing into a tree killing himself. I couldnt believe my eyes when I saw cabbages and turnips marking the spot where he died. Breaking a blokes leg through reckless driving is a big deal and deserves a prison sentence. A genuine accident is anther matter entirely.

It was me. Most young people dont have your commonsense so I stick to what I said. I used to have powerful bikes when I was young and there was a ward at the hospital known by most as the motorcycle ward. I remember "chicked runs" were done nightly. A record was put on the Jukebox at the roadside cafe and you had to go to a certain point and back before the record ended. The rule was you didnt stop for lights, nobody or anything. There were deaths and serious injuries but that didnt stop them. The police finally did and stopped it altogether. I have been a careful driver for 45 years and I hate to see youngsters driving without any care for others when the ink is still wet on their driving license. The courts need to issue stiffer penalties.

I was banned for speeding when I was 17 Waylon, so I think it would be hypocritical for me to lecture my kids. Same for drugs. Although I can remember being frustrated when my Mum told me couldn't smoke, whilst blowing Rothman's smoke in my face.

As "chav" is an elision of the Rromanije words "chavee" (young girl) & "chavo" (young boy), I take exception to use of the word "chav" as a descriptor for anything other than young males of Rrom extraction.

The term I believe you wished to use is "dinlos."

Had to laugh about the fags bit because I did the same. I didnt want my daughter addicted as I am, so I did everything to try and stop her, using myself as an example. I said to her "do you want to have to rely on these things to get you through the day" She stopped for a while then started again and now she has a 30 a day habit. When I started smoking it was the norm, everybody did. Christ you must have been going fast to get banned. Ive had a couple of tickets for speeding in 45 years driving, 40 in a 30 and 90 on the motorway. I got stopped at 110 on the M1 and I said to the officer " Im sorry but my Mum is dying". He told me to get off, be careful and dont get caught by the London police they wont let you off. She died just before I got there. I dont think its hypocritical trying to stop your kids that you love so much from doing dangerous or harmful things using yourself as an example. You can speak from experiance, and I think they take more notice when they know the grief it has caused you. Thats my experiance anyway. I was a crazy youngster and a nightmare to my Mum and Dad. My Mum just moaned at me, but my Dad talked and gradually got me back on track. My son in law was a born worrier. When their baby was born I told him " you thought you had worries before but you will find that its now that the real worries begin". I have been proved right because he told me recently he can now laugh at the things he used to worry about. Its a hell of a job parenting and it doesnt stop when they grow up either. Only the other day I had to pay council tax arrears for one of my daughters to keep her out of court.

Well I guess its if you regret it or not? Guiding the kids as in a "don't do what I did, got me no-where" kind of thing. My old man didn't smoke, but my grand dad did - and seeing him gasping for breath and still on his pipe saying "you don't need this" - well, put me off.

I understand what you are saying, if you feel it essentaily did no harm, like my views on education are alot different from my parents. My parents pushed me into a levels, uni etc - and yes, had a great time - but not something I will push my kids - cause I have loads of friends with no qualifications and like 3rd class degrees - alot better off than me. I'm probably going to have to work untill I am like in my 80's -cause while the jobs I have been have been quite well paid, I've been in no pension scheme I could get the chop at the end of my contract (I've been lucky to get it renewed) and quite frankly I cannot commit to anything cause of it... in many ways I feel envious of people who started low in an office (with little or no qualifications) and worked their way up (earning like 20-25K a year). If my kids flunk their exams, I will certainly not be hard on them.

Khan is a cocky fighter but so are previous or current FW fighters, Don Broadhurst is very cocky aswell because he probably feeds them with crap or maybe that idiot Dean Powell does and who for some reason is in most of the fighters corners

Yes I agree but he isn't the only one with racist fans either.
I think overtaking at lights on the wrong side of the road and knocking some poor old bloke over is completely reckless. Had the man died it would have been a charge of manslaughter, a greater crime than in the case of Naz. Young people whoever they are should be forced to drive a standard family car for thee years after passing their test. Either that or make the min age for powerful cars 25.
