I did old english at Uni, those don't sound like very Old English words to me.

It's not quite Aelfric munuc graet Aethelward aeldorman aedmodlice

or whatever.

But the etymology is all British (whatever that means)

Ahh I see what you mean, the provenance of the words is anglo saxon.
