Where do you live mate, must be near me? I'm about 2 minutes walk from it.

I've got a bad back at the moment, but when it clears up going to start going I think. It's 50 quid a month and you can use it whenever you like, and you get one on one sessions with Clinton on the bag and pads. Looked a good laugh when I was there.

I'm in Tooting, go past it on the thameslink every morning on the way to Farringdon.

£50 a month is a great price for a decent gym in london...

There's also a place called Miguels Gym, under the arches around there, where a few faces have trained in the past I think...

Yes, I know Miguels - Eubank used that gym early in his career - know a few people who train there.

Clinton's place is in norwood road now, moved from Herne Hill recently as he lost his lease on the half moon pub sadly.

Terrific interview James, and plenty of content and depth. Thanks very much.

Surprised he didnt mention his 14th round stoppage of Des Morrison. Probably the best British fight I have ever seen.

Clinton was a class act in the ring and certainly seems the same out of it.

Clinton was an incredible fighter who deserved a world title shot and it is quite surprising in hindsight that Mickey Duff was unable to secure him one. A couple of back-to-back disqualifications for low blows (accidental) proved costly. One of them cost Clinton the European title.
His later exploits were remarkable, when you consider all his wars. He regained the British title five years after the Marsh drainer with a dazzling decision over Lloyd Christie.
