Shane Johnson = Shane JohnsTon

Post by koartist44 »

Just so you know, Shane Johnston who made his pro debut againtst Moses Matovel at Sports Arena, San Diego, has a "T" in there. You guys have him listed as Shane Johnson which is incorrect. Thanks

Damn, Blue, the guy's nice enough to give you a free "T" and there you go getting all greedy on him. Will your avarice for fighter stats never be satisfied?

I CAN’T -- oh, sorry, help it!
Some people want to know their neighbors business… :o
Others have to know the meaning of the Universe.
I’m a stats freak & find the major US team sports, boring… :x
I even see boxing data in my dreams! :(

Actually, becoming an editor is a cover up.
It’s a step up from when I was a young chess player.
Not only would I dream about playing Paul Morphy in tournament…

When I was going to work in the mornings at the bus stop waiting with other people…
I would think…Now, if that guy would just take 3 steps to the right;
He would checkmate that fat bitch in front and I could get a good seat.
I think it’s called a compulsive disorder or something like that.

I think that's called "Morphy's law." ;)

No, if "that guy" happened to be a rook, that would have been a legal move. Now, if instead of counting sheep you do knight's tours in your head to help you go to sleep, I'd be really impressed.

"Morphy's law was what Louis Paulsen thought hit him after Paul whipped his ass with a queen sacrifice.
(A most enjoyable game to play out.)

BTW, Howard Staunton from England, “considered” the best chess player of the day, refused to play Morphy.
So U might say he was the “Hatton” of them there days.

I don’t have touble falling asleep. :o
(I think that was William Beverley’s problem.)
At my age, my trouble is staying awake. (Or on topic.)
Anyway, back to boxing.
