Good insightful read that one, well done mate.
I saw Larry's last fight at Stoke and he certainly did what was asked of him in style. I will be watching his progress with interest but it is way too early to make any predictions regarding his future.
Who knows though, if he keeps bowling them over early I'm sure Mr Maloney will take him as far as his ability will allow, and if he keeps learning under James Cook then it could be an exciting journey.

Great article. I really like Larry, and I hope he reaches his goals. We've got a few prospects who I want to do well. It's going to be tough for them all. Having intelligence and a desire to learn is an excellent bulding block for improvement and reaching your potential.
Good luck Larry!
Good luck Larry!

Listening to Larry being interviewed post-fight shows he has a bit between the ears as well as amazing physique and clear building blocks to progress from. I like the way he takes his time and puts the punches together without forcing matters too much. The number one heavyweight prospect in Britain?

Good fighter is Larry but needs more experience that's all!! He'll come good on the domestic scene..I'll say one thing he certainly looks the part...

Larry's a great prospect but I just can't get away from the fact that he's tooo big! He could still do all he does now without carrying all that muscle around. It'll be more hindrance than help when he moves up the ladder.

Thanks guys for the positive feedback. I didnt want it to look like I am slagging any of the prospects off as I respect each of them and think they are all good. And I am glad that alot of u guys think I am decent, especially the boxers on here like tony bellew. I will keep working hard and puting in good peformances God willing.

Just had a look at the record of Larry - good start - just a question not a criticism - whats with the weight - 264, 255, 264 is that the weight Larry is going to regularly fight at or are there training/diet issues?
Hey Pocket - good article mate!!! - this guy needs watching he has slipped under the radar of a few people!!!

259 is the middle one. There is only 5 pounds between them so I doubt it means much.Spud wrote:Just had a look at the record of Larry - good start - just a question not a criticism - whats with the weight - 264, 255, 264 is that the weight Larry is going to regularly fight at or are there training/diet issues?

Re: War Machine talks Tyson Fury, Maloney and career!
i was actually 267 for the second one but it was off the scale of the chart the official had. My weight will be around 259 to 264 for all fights.
Re: War Machine talks Tyson Fury, Maloney and career!
Nice article Pocket and Larry, very insightful.
I'm not professing to be any expert, but there's plenty of room for improvement defensively as Larry recognises, but with his willingness and dedication to learn it'll come with time. If Larrys got good stamina (which he looks to have considering the pace he fights at) and a good chin (looks like a trunkneck to me) to go with his natural power then he's gonna be a force to be reckoned with. Still very early days though.
It's good to see that Frank Maloney is keeping ya active. Good Luck Larry, keep up the good work
