Chagaev-Drummond & Kotelnik-Maidana on TV?
Anyone know if Chagaev-Drummond & Kotelnik-Maidana is on British tv?
Re: Chagaev-Drummond & Kotelnik-Maidana on TV?
No it's not. Chagaev is not a Sauerland fighter. The big fight from California is on, though

It's on at the moment. Round 7 next I think.

Maidana has not been this far in a fight before. He's in good condition though.

Ooh, heated up at the end of the 8th. I'm rooting for Maidana, though a Kotelnik points victory looks most likely at the moment.

Nevermind, I maximised the window and saw the details, d'oh!Asterix wrote:Click on the link on the main page and it should walk you through everything.charlieb wrote:Where do you go to sign up?

Wicked round! Kotelnik has a great chin. Maidana throws bombs constantly. They look really, straight, sharp and hurtful.

Amazing 12th round. Maidana is a beast and Kotelnik is extremely tough. It doesn't look like anyone could knock out Kotelnik at the weight. Maidana is a good fighter. With better defense and some good feints he could really be one to watch. Kotelnik's face is a bit of a mess.

Like the look of Maidana, although he's a little open and lucky Kotelnik isn't a harder puncher.
Only saw it from the 9th though.

Kotelnik won a split decision. :(
Re: Chagaev-Drummond & Kotelnik-Maidana on TV?
Denis Boytsov vs Israel Carlos Garcia now. Boytsov looks tiny. Should be a Cruiserweight, imo.
Re: Chagaev-Drummond & Kotelnik-Maidana on TV?
Over already. Decent finish by Boytsov. He might be able to make some noise at Cruiserweight. Not Heavyweight though.
Re: Chagaev-Drummond & Kotelnik-Maidana on TV?
He's too big for cruiserweight. He'll make a good heavyweight, possible a world champion too.
Re: Chagaev-Drummond & Kotelnik-Maidana on TV?
It wouldn't hurt to lose a few lbs of muscle (he looks a bit muscle bound anyway) and then drain the rest. I think he could do it healthily.glahn wrote:He's too big for cruiserweight. He'll make a good heavyweight, possible a world champion too.

Vitaly Shivanov vs Marcel Meyerdiercks now. Featherweight fight.

lol, Meyerdiercks coming out to a Roy Jones Jr song.Asterix wrote:Vitaly Shivanov vs Marcel Meyerdiercks now. Featherweight fight.

Only found this with a round or two left of the Welterweight title fight, its a very good quality stream and in English too.
I thought that Intercontinental Heavyweight title fight was pretty entertaining while it lasted. Were any fights before those two televised (or streamed).

I asked the same question in the Current Scene but didn't get an answer. I don't think there were, because Maidana - Kotelnik was on very early. It was a Light Welterweight fight, by the way.chrisfinch wrote:Only found this with a round or two left of the Welterweight title fight, its a very good quality stream and in English too.

So there might be Vladimir Tereshkin vs Manu Ntoh (giant vs midget) and then it will be Chagaev vs Drummond.Eduard Gutknecht stopped Rubin Williams in the 5th round.

Thanks dude. I was convinced I'd put Light in front of the Welterweight but obviously not.Asterix wrote:From the Current Scene:Asterix wrote:I asked the same question in the Current Scene but didn't get an answer. Hoping the main event is a lot better than the recent Heavyweight title fights I've seen.
