Junior Witter vs Gianluca Branco

I thought Witter was meant to be fighting Devon Alexander for the WBC Interim title, but boxrec has Witter fighting Branco for the European title in Italy on the 20th of March.

So, who is he fighting?

I spoke to John Ingle about this. There was one purse bid for the Branco fight which was, I believe start of Feb or end of Jan, but they were waiting for a firm purse bid date for the Alexander fight which was due end of Feb.
But I don't think they were going to pull out of the Branco fight until the other fight was fixed.
EBU is a member of the WBC, I think, so I don't think that's a problem with losing an EBU nomination in future.
