Sam Garza refereed a bout between Valerie Mahfood and Kathy Rivers on 2004-04-16 at the Stafford Center in Houston. The result was a majority draw.

The fight itself is already in the database, it's just not under Sam Garza's fights.

Also, how can I become a boxrec editor?

Editors enters new bouts into the database. It can be recent or old fights (Some of the editors here spend alot of time on libraries trying to find bouts for 100 years ago) or scheduled fights. They also "maintain" the database updating weight, refs, judges, scoring ect.
