Second time around he was full WBA SMW champion after Calzaghe moved up to light heavyweight. His move down to middleweight was a strange one.
Gotta say something here. No disrespect intended but Mundine probably had more claim to his first reign than the second. Even though he has never beaten a champion for a belt. The second reign was bogus in my opinion. Kessler was the champ and then was made super champ cos he held the belt in more than one organisation. I know we all know this.Brute wrote:Marlin wrote:Fixed.Brute wrote:Mundine was WBA "regular" Super Middleweight champ twice. The move wasn't a strange one. Kessler was the mandatory for the belt.Brute wrote:Second time around he was full WBA SMW champion after Calzaghe moved up to light heavyweight. His move down to middleweight was a strange one.
