murray should sack hennessy, take the prescott fight, beat him... go for mega bucks fight with winner of barrera/khan for a vacant title

I suppose it depends on your definition of chunky, but I concede there probably have been a fair few. It's just not a stereotypical trait and I very much doubt that Murray and Froch have been offered chunky purses for the Khan and Calzaghe fights, not as much as Mick was willing to pay to stage the fight anyway

All I remember is Sports Network making an offer outside of the purse bids and it being turned down (probably because it was crap). Sports Network weren't bothered with the purse bids. I might be remembering incorrectly though so no lawsuits please.

I think its an exaggeration to say SN dont do purse bids.
I can catagorically confirm that they made a very generous bid for the Rhodes v Small fight, but lost out.
I do know recently they've made other British Title bids.

I seem to remember Khan being offered £300,000 for the same fight though, which was also turned down and at the time would certainly have been a career high payday for Khan.
