Hey, i am looking for some info on my grandpa he was fighting in CA in the late 40's and had a few pro fights
i can't find any thing on him. his name is Donald or Don king any help with this would be great i dont know where to look with a name like that its hard cuz all you get is stuff on the other don king lol

did you look on boxrec.com ?

the second tab from the left is NAME. make sure you have all your info accurate. did he have an alias? back then he could have ahd all kinds of fights that were not recorded or not recorded under his actual birth name.

yeah i did and none of them are him do to the years.. i know his manangers name also but cant find him.

You might want to post this same question on the pro boxing discussion forum - if you haven't already. If you're looking for amateur records, they are almost impossible to find since no record was kept until 1987. You would also have to know WHERE in California he was competing. Good luck!
