£28 are some of the upper tier- prices change as you get nearer the ring. I think the £28 ones will sell out.

Floor is a straight £125.

Compare to, say, Rendall Monroe's next defence, - a similar bill- three title fights- that is £35 for anywhere but ringside.

This may come as a shock to you Whicker, but the cost of geting this show off the ground isn't peanuts and guess what ?
The Promotion Company isn't a Charity - a profit has to be made.
Yes, but you don't make a profit by charging prices people are unable to afford- that was my original point.
I agree, I think currently Frank Maloney and Mick Hennessey's cards and pricing are the best value for money out of the semi-major promoters in this country. The undercards are always good and you can usually get really close tickets for £35-£45.

The Metrodome holds 1500 tops.
It does not lend itself to segregation for differing price stuctures.
I live close by.
So, the £35 will apply to 80% of the audience.
That is £7 dearer for the cheap seats than the Echo Arena.
It's all symantics at the end of the day.
As a boxing fan, the Liverpool bill as a whole is superior in qualitry.
How much is ringside on the Maloney bill ?

Yet, but be fair- that will be much nearer the action that the £28 Liverpool seats. Ringside for this is £75.

Yes. I've been to the Echo Arena , too. Upper tier seats do usually give a decent view, but in an 11 000 seater venue upper tier seats are a long way from the action.

The upper tier seats which are closer to the action, at the sides, are £48.

As regards the Echo arena.
First of all, only half the arena is being used.
Secondly the ring will be situated close to the surrounding fixed seating.
Thirdly there will be very few floor seats / ringside seats.
The arena is being set up to accomodate a crowd of up to 6,000.
If you've been before, imagine its the half of the arena furthest away from the stage.
I've sat in the £28 seats and seen the markings for where the ring will be, and it's a good view.
In fact better than the view I've experienced a couple of times at the Metrodome in the dearer seats !!!
You can't compare a Leisure Centre to an Arena such as the Echo.
Anyway that's been done to death.
I think its good value, you think its pricey.

Yeah, thats a fair point- at the end of the day people make their own choice when it comes to which tickets to buy.

And as I have said all along, its a nice venue and an excellent card.

I think Magee has to be a strong favourite too - Tony doesn't like shots in the "Bread Basket"

Great banter! Thanks for the video. Small may be a plank but I tell you what, it definitely gets people more interested in the fight, if only to see Rhodes shut his mouth with his fists! The card is a very good one as - no less than 5 competitive matches on the card. That's impressive. Also you've got David Price and Curtis Woodhouse.
