Letting your boxing do the talking is the best thing to do. Press releases with nothing to back it up are a waste of time.

However, why not fight someone like Fury. It would be a great learning fight for you both and if you win, then use it as a stepping stone to bigger fights down the line. If you lose, so what - its very early in your career and you can come back better for it. Juan Manuel Marquez and Bernard Hopkins lost their first fights, it hasn't held them back!

I understand promoters wanting to protect their fighters but why bother about being undefeated? Why not go against the best you can, within reason? You will learn more than beating up some under-matched out of shape tomato can.

I admire the aggressive matchmaking of Fury so early in his career. Time will tell if it is a good thing or not but it is sure as hell exciting and thats what I want to see as a fan.

Of course as fans we have ideas what we want to see. But it's not like he's being sold as a main event attraction so he doesn't have to fight anyone big yet. Just as fans have ideas what fights they want to see, fighters and promoters have to do what's right for the fighter's career so he can develop at the right speed and get the fights when the time is right.

I commend Tyson Fury for wanting to progress his career at breakneck speed, I'm not saying that all boxers should be progressed in the same way, but it's good to see that he's got confidence in himself and wants to be tested so early in his career (and life).

I can't understand the people who are already wanting him to get beat, just because he and his management team are abit cocky, but I'm sure it won't bother Tyson and Mick as long as people are talking and thinking about him. Personally I want and think he'll do well as long as he's got the stamina to compensate for not being a BIG puncher

I think it's a very good bit of matchmaking for how early it is in his career, Peret's been in with Chisora, Belshaw twice (winning one) and John McDermott, so he'll be a decent yardstick and as you say if he can stop Peret he's one up on the others

yeah Peret has been around , and as i said in a previous post he is tough as.
Fury should stop him , i feel Peret will be open for the uppercut, which is one of Fury's better punches, I hope to see some left hooks coming in as well this time.
