Has the vacant WBO NABO light middleweight title really been on the line in this fight? The NABO might have been founded in 1994 only (which I can neither confirm nor deny).

I have contacted the NABO and they confirmed that it started sanctionning fights in 1994. Hence, the Powell-Perez fight could not have been an NABO title fight.
