scott harrison & frank maloney ?

Post by southpaw7 »

on bunces boxing yesterday he said frank maloney had gave the bbbc a letter asking to grant scott harrison his licience back!
does this mean he is managed by frank again as iv not heard anything in the press? .

think this could be good for scott as frank done a great job with his carear before he went off the rails!

I thought that it was dependent on BBBC recieving info from Maloney that Scott has no more pending court cases, isn't the Spanish court case still outstanding? I hope not as I'd like to see Scott come through his troubles and get back in the ring asap, I think Steve said he's in training at the mo and looking good

One's an alcoholic, short ass convict that gets up everyone's nose - the other's Scott Harrison.

yeh i think he should be givin his licence back,he still got a case to come up in spain according to the press which keeps getting put back all the time .,but im sure there have been many boxers boxed in the past that have had court cases pending and been alowed to carry on fighting.

No chance. They wouldn't let my mate in the country for a connecting flight to Canada and he's done far less wrong than Scott

The Republic of Ireland isn't(where the majority of Irish cards are held), and it probably wouldn't of been difficult for Harrison to get a license in Ireland or get fights their either. God knows why he didn't try.

Harrison's demise has been a sad sight but I can't (and wouldn't want to) see the Board giving him his licence back as he has simply had too many "second chances".

Harrison still has a pending case in Spain and if found guilty, which is almost a certainty, he could get a long term prison sentence. The board have made it clear they wont give Harrison his license back until this is out of the way. Pointless really if hes going down to let him box again before the trial. I dont think we will ever see him fight again, except in a Glasgow pub perhaps.

He spent a lot of time in a Catholic retreat in Ulster trying to recover from his troubles the last time he applied for his license. So I'm presuming he has some strong links to the old country. Then again every central Scotland Tim does. :TU:
